My clinical practice has expanded, and I am pleased to offer you the opportunity to work with some amazing clinicians. Our personal approach in psychotherapy is based on your needs, struggles and stressors. We do not believe in simply offering one method of treatment for all problems. The clinicians that are now part of Advocating Hope will reflect the same approach and treatment.
The clinicians have completed training for a variety of styles of treatment, including Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative and Interpersonal Therapy. I am a resource to these clinicians and together we will explore your needs to embark on a healing journey of personal growth and improved mental-wellness. I will personally continue to support clients who access services through NIHB.
One of my passions in my practice is offering support and guidance to others who are carrying out the profession of psychotherapy.
My 20 plus years of experience in providing psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and children with a wide range of mental health and situational duress has been valued by the MSW and psychotherapy candidates who have had their placements with me.
I enjoy sharing my skills, knowledge and experiences with new practitioners. clinical supervision goes well beyond the academic expectation of the profession of psychotherapy. It is simply a good clinical practice to have a supervision component in your clinical practice. It affords you a safe, confidential and non-judgmental venue to reflect and learn.

Navigating life’s challenges can be overwhelming and stressful. At times it may be difficult to cope with the struggles that may arise and we may need support outside of our circle of friends and family.
Although, it can be uncomfortable to reach out for help, in the end it can be incredibly rewarding. As a therapist I take a nonjudgmental and collaborative approach to helping you achieve your goals. Whether you are struggling with a life transition or need help dealing with anxiety, I will be there with a compassionate, listening ear, and practical strategies to help you find the relief you desire.
I have a background in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and have a growing interest in several other counselling modalities. My undergraduate degree is in behavioural psychology and I am currently completing my masters in counselling psychology.
Everyone has a story filled with crossroads, secrets, and unknowns. As we transition and grow through the chapters of our lives, relationships may change, responsibilities shift, and unforeseen circumstances occur. Although life can sometimes be challenging, it may feel more manageable once you learn new ways to approach and cope with situations, learn different perspectives, and explore your options as you embark on your therapy journey.
I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying), working under the supervision of Mary Earls, as I complete my Master’s of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I work from a strength-based and person-centered perspective, all while leaning on Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy approaches that are tailored to your individualistic needs

It takes real courage to openly shared with someone and I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate your challenges alone. I would like to share time with you in your journey of healing. We can unpack your story in a confidential space and without judgements, all while you learn new coping skills, and bring the light back to your life.
I am dedicated to creating a safe space for you while attending to your story with compassion and taking a non-judgmental approach. Whatever the struggle may be, I am here to support you!
